What levels of classes do you offer?

Our classes are open to everyone; from the beginner to the individual with years of experience. Classes are divided according to age. If a student would like to try an older age group based on their experience and skills, this can be discussed with the program director. At times, groups of students are invited to participate in more advanced classes for the recital based on their performance in class. Our youngest students are invited to participate in our Music, Movement and Ballet class for 3-5 year olds. All other classes are offered for students in grades K-12.

Do you offer adult classes?

Mid American Studio boasts over 12,000 square feet of studio and office space in one building featuring 4 main studios, a Pilates Reformer studio, and a private massage room. Over 25 adult classes are offered throughout the week in Pilates, Yoga, Cardio, Sculpt and Tone, Zumba, and much more. Many classes are offered simultaneously with our youth programs, which allows parents and children the opportunity to workout at the same time. Family discounts are also offered. Please visit www.midamericanfit.com for more information. New fitness clients receive an entire FREE week of fitness, so come in and try something new!

Are boys allowed to take classes?

YES — boys are invited to participate in any class that we offer.

Do you rent out your studio space?

YES — we do rent out our studio space on an hourly basis depending on the availability of the studio (s). Please visit our rental page for more information.

If I sign up online, do I create a profile for myself (parent), or my child?

You will want to create an account for your child. The class rosters and other information is generated from these profiles, so you will want it to be in your child’s name.

Do parents get to watch the students while they are in class?

Many of our studios are equipped with closed-circuit real time cameras which allow parents the ability to see what is going on in the class room on the television in our main lobby. Parents and friends are also invited into the classroom during our parent viewing week to view class. During all other times, we ask that only our instructors and registered students are in the classrooms during classes to keep distractions to a minimum.
