About Us
Mid American Studio was established in 2002. The studio opened as a division of Mid American Pompon, a nationally recognized leader in dance and pompon instruction for middle and high school teams from across the state of Michigan. During their first year, the studio offered 8 classes throughout the week in pompon and dance. It didn’t take long before people were talking about the great things that were going on at Mid American Studio.
Currently, the studio offers over 30 youth classes per week, as well as over 20 adult fitness classes. In one word, Mid American Studio is unique.

Our instructors
The Mid American Studio instructors come from a number of dance backgrounds, many of which include professional and semi-professional performance and choreography experience. This talented group of instructors truly cares about each and every one of their students. We believe that it is possible to combine the fun of dance and pompon, with the structure of a learning environment, and produce amazing results in each of our classes.

Our sessions
Students are able to register for three independent sessions throughout the year. This allows students to participate in other activities, and still take dance lessons throughout the year. New sessions begin in September, January, and July. New routines are instructed during each session, which means students are not working on just one routine for an entire year as they do at many other dance studios.
Our facility
With 4 full-size studios, a Pilates Reformer studio, massage room, youth lounge, and main lobby with parent viewing area, Mid American Studio takes pride in providing our customers with a 12,000 square foot beautiful, clean, spacious facility. Take a virtual tour of the studio. Our main lobby also features a snack center where students and parents can purchase healthy snacks on the go! Parents can also purchase a punch card for their child; the punch card is kept on file, and allows the student to purchase a snack or beverage on account. Perfect for those who come directly from school, or have a short break between classes. Our building is also equipped with wireless internet access.
